Function
Royal Jelly is one of the world's most nutrient rich functional foods, delivering over 185 naturally occurring bioactive compounds. These include the unique fatty acid 10 HDA (10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid), the nine Major Royal Jelly Proteins (MRJPs), most notably Royalactin (MRJP1), and all essential amino acids, including the nine the human body cannot produce on its own (Lysine, Leucine, Isoleucine, Valine, Histidine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine and Tryptophan). It also contains essential minerals, primarily Potassium (K) and Phosphorus (P), together with a broad spectrum of vitamins, particularly B1, B2, B3, B5 and B9.
Royal Jelly has been clinically studied for dry eye caused by reduced blinking, making it particularly relevant for gamers, creators and anyone spending long hours in front of a screen (blink rates can decrease by up to 60%). Research also suggests Royal Jelly may support mental processing speed, cognitive performance and longevity.
